This week our Artist Spotlight falls on Chicago based artist Lilli Carré. Seamlessly spanning the realms of film, animation, comics and illustration, Carré’s work is characterized by an acute sense of design, as well as a subtle, quieted surrealism. Her work has been shown at film festivals around the world, including Sundance, and her comics and illustrations can be seen in a number of notable periodicals and comics anthologies.
Her latest book is the wonderful anthology, Heads or Tails, published by Fantagraphics. Check out some of her amazing stuff on her website, blog, and tumblr.
